How are investments selected in the portfolios?

Posted by admin on October 17, 2012

We select investments based on a strategic asset allocation, a strategy designed to diversify assets in a manner that meets your long-term goals. In choosing the ETFs in a portfolio, we look across a range of asset classes and evaluate several key quantitative and qualitative factors, including:

  • Annual expense ratio
  • Tracking error
  • Liquidity
  • Issuer quality and reputation
  • Index tracked

From there, we periodically review the securities and make sure they continue to serve their intended purpose in the portfolio and rebalance the portfolio to make sure you have the mix of assets that your goals require.
